This is an update for Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) project holders on the approach the Clean Energy Regulator will take if properties with ERF projects are adversely affected by bushfires.
It is important that all projects operate safely and comply with relevant obligations under safety legislation. Eligibility for Australian carbon credit units is contingent on compliance with state and territory laws including fire management plans.
For more information about your project obligations or to notify the Clean Energy Regulator of a fire event please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1300 553 542.
