The Clean Energy Regulator holds a number of events about the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme to assist clients with their reporting obligations.

The deadline for 2019-20 NGER reports is 2 November 2020. In the lead up to the deadline, the Clean Energy Regulator holds workshops to assist people with their NGER reporting. This year, due to COVID-19, these workshops will be held via webinar, instead of face-to-face.
Throughout September, we will run webinars covering two topics; one giving a general overview of the NGER legislation, and one that focusses on using the
Emissions and Energy Reporting System (EERS). Participants can choose from a range of dates for each webinar. The number of participants for each webinar is limited to 40 places.

Keep an eye open for our next update where we will introduce a series of online question and answer sessions to be run throughout October 2020. Subject to demand, we will also schedule more webinars.
This one hour webinar will provide a basic overview of the NGER legislative framework and reporting obligations for 2019–20. This webinar is aimed at those new to NGER reporting or for existing users who want a refresher.

This one hour and 30 minute webinar will help reporters enter their data into EERS. The second half of this webinar will provide more in-depth technical guidance and advice for reporters. The webinar will include information about:
