The Clean Energy Regulator holds a number of events about the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme to assist clients with their reporting obligations.

The agency is holding webinars to help people with their NGER reporting in the lead up to the 1 November 2021 deadline.
We will run webinars covering 2 topics:
Participants can choose between a number of dates for each webinar. You can sign up for the webinars below.
We are also offering online question and answer sessions for specific help on reporting, to be run throughout September and October.
No face-to-face workshops will be held due to COVID-19.
This 1 hour webinar will provide a basic overview of the NGER legislative framework and reporting obligations for 2020–21. This webinar is aimed at those new to NGER reporting or for existing users who want a refresher.

This 1 hour webinar will guide reporters to where they can find information to help them prepare their NGER data. The second part of this webinar will go through changes that impact all reporters. The final part is targeted to users from the Oil and Gas sectors and will provide more in-depth technical guidance and advice for this group of reporters.

These 1-hour, interactive question and answer sessions will provide reporters with an opportunity to ask questions of our experts on areas of reporting that they might be finding difficult, from interpreting the legislation through to using the EERS system. Participants will be invited to submit questions for discussion prior to the session. Numbers for these sessions will be controlled to give enough time to questions. These sessions are open to all NGER users and may be particularly useful to those new to NGER reporting.
